This is all my fault! I should have felt him moving in bed. For years he has slept with me with no problem, none and now this. I believe he tripped on the comforter trying to get down. Now I will likely be sleeping on the floor next to his bed so this does not happen again. I feel horrible I let this happen. |
Don't blame yourself. It was just an accident and may not be as bad as you're thinking. He could just be very sore or bruised. I'll be hoping and praying that's all it is. After sleeping with these little one's for a lifetime, I had one that rolled over and fell off the side of the bed. It was a lower bed, so I was lucky. Now, with Kacee, when she was a puppy, somehow, she went to the foot of the bed in the night and when I stretched out I kicked her off the foot. It didn't hurt her at all. I was lucky, because this bed is high. Let us know what you decide to do and how he is.
