Max is wearing a cloth diaper (made by old shirt) and is frolicking around like he usually does.
I know some of you feel strongly about me taking him to the doctor today (not that any vets are open near me anyway) but I am confident it is not an anal gland rupture. According to someone who experienced an anal gland rupture with her dog:
If her anal gland has ruptured then she will be in a tremendous amount of pain and the area will be leaking and that stuff that comes out will stain smell wise what ever it touches.
Max isn't in any pain, doesn't mind if I poke the scab below his butt, and there's nothing leaking, swollen or stinky. |
