Ok, I am talking about our new chi, but same thing would apply to yorkies I think. We just got a yr old unneutered male. We also have a 8 month old pom (male), 6 year old Yorkie (female) and 3 yr old chi (female). all are fixed but the newbie. They are getting along really good. The only issue we are having is the new guy is spraying everywhere, apparently never potty trained. The others use potty pads. We plan to get him neutered asap but he is already used to lifting his leg.
My questions: any chance he will quit doing it once neutered? Or at least not as much once he is comfortable with his surroundings?
Anything else we should watch for? We have never brought in a dog at this age, always gotten puppies. Any thoughts? thanks!
