5 weeks old pups, boy/girl. Starting grinding Canidae and California Natural but not eating it well. They Love nursing on Mom. Problem - She's getting tired of nursing 24/7, seperated them for few hours at time, but can't seem to get pups real interested in FOOD!? Any suggestions to get them munching better? They'll lick once or twice off plate, but that's about it. I've shoved it in their little mouths, let them lick my fingers for days, everything I can think of. Added chicken broth, even bought the unthinkable "Puppy Chow" last night, and they did seem to like it better and lick a little more, but still not real interested! I just want them to start weaning a little more. Someone suggested cottage cheese in a book?!?
