I wanted to try and configure something like this last year on our screened in porch (not carpeted) for those freezing winter nights. My problem is: Jackson will not go in small spaces. He HAS to sniff around and have a big area to go. The only time he went on the porch was during the blizzard last year when there was 4ft of snow on the ground, and probably about a foot ended up in the porch. I hope, if I ever live in an apartment, I can get him to go on a patio or something.
