Woohoo, they had a pet day called Hogs and Dogs at the local Harley shop, and Eddie beat out 7 dogs to win the trick contest!
I think he had to rely on the Cute Factor because we started off trying to do the sneeze trick, where I sneeze and he brings me a tissue. But he was so excited about all the other dogs and kids there, and he REFUSED to do it!
It was supposed to be a one-trick contest, but I quickly led him through his High 10, High 5 and Low 5 routine, and people gave him the biggest round of applause, so he won.
He just learned the Low 5 this week. I put him in a down and he puts his paw on my hand. Very cute, and it turns a simple High 5 trick into something a little more fun.
His prize was an obedience class at the training center we attend, so that's $90!
