Thank you all so much, Sofia and I are doing a little better every day. We are keeping busy and that seems to help. Sofia still likes to go in Mia's kennel at bed time just to check if she has come home, but at least she comes to bed with us without whining anymore. She has taken Mias elephant and moved it to her bed in the kitchen, so I think it makes her feel better having Mia's sent with her. I can't say thank you enough to everyone for all your support at this time. It has really made me feel so much less alone in my pain. I have lost dogs before in my life, but this one just hit hard, maybe because we searched so long for Mia, and when she came into our lives, she just fit right in. I'm not sure it was just an instant bond, she was a great little girl, tough as nails at least she thought so, and very smart. We bought some puzzles for the dogs for Christmas, and the little smarty pants had them figured out in minutes. She could always make me laugh, she will always be missed. Her daddy had some of my favorite pictures printed and framed for me, to hang with the other family photos, were she belongs. Thank you all again there just are no better people than Yorkie people. |
