Remy peed in the bed with us one time and that was it. I think he realized that was a BIG "no-no". My mom's two dogs do not sleep with them either..she feels they are safer and happier in their crates. She say's good night and they hop in their beds
. Your not a bad mommy at all! Probably a safer mommy because I worry about mine falling out of the bed and breaking a leg
