If he's due for a DHPP and a Rabies booster, don't get both tomorrow. Get the DHPP, then go back in 4 weeks for the Rabies. If the vet suggests a Lepto vaccine, refuse it at this time. This vaccine should be given by itself, if at all. Same goes for the flu vac, the dental vac, and any others he may suggest. IMHO, a minimal vaccine protocol is best for all Yorkies.

Heatworm test and buy preventative.

If he recently got neutered and you did the preop bloodwork then, you could skip it this time, maybe recheck his bloodwork in 6 months or so.

Your vet should do a hands-on exam, he will alert you to anything he finds and make recommendations on a course of action. He should check his temperature (if elevated, no vaccines should be given), weight, eyes, ears, nose, mouth and teeth, feet: pads and toenails, knees, stifles, and hips (may check range of motion), skin and coat, listen to his heart and lungs, check his pulse, and his penis, butt, and anal glands.

You may want to schedule a Bile Acids Test at this time, even if your vet sees no reason for it. Many Yorkies have Liver Shunt or MVD, and show no symptoms, even with normal results on the preop bloodwork.

Sorry, looks like I am too late....
