If you can, go to the ER vet for pain meds and antibiotic drops tonight. Depending on how deep the scratch is, it may be crucial that you have the eye checked tonight.
Otherwise, make sure your vet gets you in first thing in the morning. Be careful with water. Maximo went through something similar recently and water was very painful on his eye. Bright light is also painful. Use plain sterile saline; no eyedrops with any additives.
