Callie has about a million toys, she would make me feel bad about leaving her to go to the store or doctor even though she would be left with my grandpa and I would buy her a toy and because I started that every time I would go out I had to do that she even checks the bags now. She has a big toy box upstairs, three down stairs (one is just for balls the other two are for soft toys) and one in our bed room (but she doesn't even play with the toys at night when its bed time she is ready for bed). When I clean out her toy box every couple of months she will grab toys out of the bag even though I am picking ones she doesn't play with or take off dragging the hole bag. She doesn't shred or "kill" toys so they will last forever so when I clean out the toys I send them to my moms house where she has 2 beagles 1 of whom likes to tear up toys and then her yorkie rescue who also likes to tear up toys. We have a nice system lol.
