I have a few times- I don't find it to be any special bonding time or anything, lol. Just a few times when one really needed to get clean and I was in a rush I just took them in the shower real quick with me because it went faster. Mine are very well behaved at bathe time either way so I don't know if it helps to soothe but it might with a dog that is nervous of bathe time.
