I hope you can get this figured out. Woodie is a darling little guy! And too young to be so sick.
You mention he is having breathing problems, but not what exactly the problem is. Is he breathing rapidly? Labored? If his respirations are more that 30/min, I would take him to an emergency clinic. That is what the internist for one of my dogs told me. At more than that, he may not be getting enough oxygen and the level could drop to a dangerously low level.
Does his breathing problem sound like it is in his throat, or lungs. Could this just be a problem he is having in addition to his original problem or has he had the problem all along?
My thoughts are with Woodie. I know how hard this is to handle.
