Most do just fine at home and usually not eating the first night is fine, but because she is small and you are concerned, it may be best. Even on a non surgery day, I'd be concerned about needing to give Nutrical. If it's not balanced with protein, it can be pretty unhealthy. It can cause her sugar to drop. I don't have any advice for you except try to get her to eat. Not really recommended after surgery, but have you ever just tried forcing it?
