It really depends, but it does seem that multiplying the 12 week weight by 2 is fairly accurate. Jackson was 6lbs at 12 weeks old and weighed 12lbs at 1 year old, though he did gain a bit of weight (but still at a healthy size) after 1 year and is now 15-16lbs.
