I don't have the answers for you, but I do know how it feels to lose a family member. As hard as it is to see and smell their things, it would be sadder to have it all taken away....but each person grieves differently. What do you want to do about putting her things away? Would you prefer to do this or leave them for awhile? As for Sofia, I would just give her a ton of extra snuggles (I'm sure you are) and I would give her time to grieve as well.
