Mirra Coat is basically a combo of glycerides, which are fatty acids combined with glycerol; MC also contains vitamin A, and of course E. As vitamin E is one of the fat-soluble vitamins which protects vitamin A(which is also in Mirra-Coat) as well as the fatty acids from oxidation in the bodies cells, and also prevents the breakdown of the bodies tissues.

These two above have beneficial elements that are great for our pups skin and coat. Complete Proteins, Omega 3s, Vitamin E, and other nutrients are essential to both skin cell maintenance and healthy coats.

However, the addition of just "Peanut Butter" scares me. Most peanut butter off the shelf is processed and has hydrogenated oils....NOT good. These are also known as Trans fats, and they do the same damage to our pups as they do to us. This is especially disconcerting because of the predisposition of our yorkies to liver and pancreatic dysfunctions and disease. Organic unprocessed peanut butter would be a lot better as it still would contain vitamin E, yet without the Trans fat issues.

Some people do have issues with honey. However raw honey has been used for many things including aiding with digestion and maintaining healthy skin, and arthritis; it is a source of simple carbohydrates.

Out of curiosity, what are you feeding your pups now?
Just a thought...... but you might want to discuss this regime with your vet to make sure that your pups do not have any outstanding issues such as pancreatitis or liver dysfunction.

Also.... you might want to think about just adding in omega 3's, such as salmon oil fortified with vitamin E, depending on their diet.

Thank you very much and I did indeed go to the vet this morning and we discussed this and she said for me just to do the Ark naturals and that it was the best option because it seemed more natural and she also mentioned the Honey and peanut butter concerns. I am feeding TSC 4-health, I have had my yorkies on Innova, Wellness, Canidae, TOTW etc before because they were rate 6* and 5* on dog food analysis and dog food advisor but they didn't seem to care for any of it. They'd eat it cause that was their only option but wouldn't eat much. I finally tried something different and picked up 4-health at TSC and panicked about it; looked it up and it was a 4* out of 5* on dog food advisor. So I started to put them on that and they eat it great and act as if they never get fed.
