If you blow up the pics you will see mite egg cases stuck on various hairs on the outsides of her ears. More than likely this is Sarcoptic mange mites (Scabies in humans) and is easily treated with the Heartworm preventative Revolution, which also kills Sarcoptic mites. The mites themselves are easily missed on skin scrapings under the microscope so you could save your money there. Is anyone in the household itching or showing a red bumpy rash, or does anyone get itchy after holding her on their lap?

Yorkies are prone to Sarcoptic mites and they are usually found on the ears.
