You might just add acidophilus, especially if the little bugger gets tired of the yogurt. I use BeneBac all the time and give a tube to the new owneDs when a puppy leaves here. Also, there actually is a Beano type med for animals.
My choice for most tummy thingies is the BeneBac. I keep it and use it if meds have to be given such as antibiotics, as they kill the BENEFICIAL and bad bacteria in the bowel. It is a formula that originally was developed for the Clydesdales that travel for the Budweiser co. OMG, can you IMAGINE cleaning up even one diarrhea pile from just one horse??
I use BilJac and Royal Canin mixed and they do pretty well. I did have one girl that would clear the room and bring tears to your eyes. Her new mom swears she is fine..I suggested the mom might want a consult with an ENT..LOL |
