You can do it with little to no bleeding but I wouldn't do it without having something there to stop bleeding. The Silver Nitrate is on the tip of a stick, you simply dab the end on the area to prevent bleeding. Our tails never have any scaring on them and look great. I worry about bacteria being trapped under a liquid bandage/glue and causing an infection.
