First off, thanks for your replies. Now, my husband is against getting a second yorkie for the most part that kaylee has accidents here and there even though she lets us know when she wants out by scratching on the door. He gets upset that she still makes mistakes and doesn't want another dog doing so. She's "my dog" because he got her for me; I feed, water, bathe, Clean up after her & cut her hair myself. I believe I could emotionally and physically take care of another yorkie baby; but i'm seeking others advice from those who have gotten a second yorkie to see from what they tell me.. if it's even worth getting one. The puppy who passed away with internal issues was just an update stating that my sister in law now has 5 puppies to choose from. Since the post, I found out last night that now there are two silver puppies because the mom is not taking care of the puppies & she's apparently already tried to chew on a few. They've lost that instinct to suck..but my sister in law is a veterinarian technician so the reason the last two are alive are because of her.
I understand my husband is my other half yet other reason to making decisions. Regardless if I really 'want' something, we always make a decision together. We both wanted to know other peoples reactions to when they decided on when it was a good time for a second one by seeing how old their first one was before they decided. He just wanted me to put that he was semi against it. |
