Wow, that sounds really bad. I would first try a true allergy free diet, and maybe even going raw, slowly introducing one food item at a time into her diet to see if any of them cause problems (thus signaling an allergy). She also may have environmental allergies, and testing can be done for those as well. For some dogs, a simple Zyrtec (over the counter human allergy medication) can do the trick.

An elimination diet, followed by formal allergy testing if the problem is not food-related, is really the only way to determine if allergies are her problem.

Also, is there any chance that she could have developed an antibiotic resistant infection?
