Sophie is 14 weeks and still gets up at night. However, now we let her sleep in her crate in her x-pen, which has her pad in it. She gets up once of twice in the night still to go the bathroom but then goes right back to bed. When we had her locked in the crate she would just whine when she would go back, although a blanket over the front helped a bit. But I was exhausted and unable to function in life!
Now, during the week my husband brings her to our bed when he gets up for work or on the weekends she starts whimpering around 7:00 a.m. When she does that I just bring her to bed and she'll sleep several more hours with us. I know it's a bad habit to start, but it's worth it and there really isn't anything cuter than getting woken up by kisses
I feel like it's gotten better but am a little anxious for times when we can't travel with her x-pen and she needs to just be in the crate. But, hopefully as she grows she'll be able to hold it longer. This morning she slept in the bed 5 hours with me, so I know she can hold it when she wants too
