Oh hi. And agree. I have CS4 too. I've incorporated a lot of 'actions' into my palette, and that has helped some with editing and streamlining. Still, not easy.

I've used Paint Shop Pro (like Nancy has used) too and it's way more friendly than Photoshop. You may not get the options that P-shop has, but it's likely that you won't even know you're missing them, ya know? Bc P-shop has soooooooooooo many options, it can be overwhelming.

If anyone is firm on using p-shop, I'd really recommend loading some actions...it helps so much with streamlining.
I guess it's a matter of personal preference. I have PSP, too, and I didn't care for it, mainly because it doesn't seem "intuitive" to me and felt like it really limited my options. I think it's all a matter of what you are used to and how comfortable you are with the computer.

Which ever program you chose, I can't reiterate enough "youtube, youtube, youtube!" There are so many things that would make me sit in front of my computer for hours trying to figure out (like clipping masks) that just would not "click" by reading the directions. Yet once I saw a video of someone actually doing it, I could get it to work without a hitch. I'm now to the point where I can even make my own templates for my scrapbooking thanks to youtube.
