As you can see, Rizzo has adorable ears
however I'd like to trim them to the standard, top 1/3 of ear "tipped" but I honestly don't know what that means...entirely.
I get that means that the top third of his ear should be trimmed down, however, do I shave down to the skin, do I leave an inch on there? Do I trim both the front and back of the ear?
I've done a search hoping that someone asked the same thing but found a ton on self grooming, but not much on grooming the ears to the standard.
I'm growing his coat out, mostly out of curiosity and I'd like to stay pretty close to how it
should look.
Groomers, breeders, how do you trim the ears? He looks almost like he could fly if only he could figure out how to flap his ears, lol.
