Max does not mat at all unless his hair gets bunched up under his harness on his chest. Teddy will tangle when he gets dirty, so I try to keep him really clean and use as little product on him as possible. |
I guess that's where I'm confused. Kaji is definitely soft coated, and he hardly ever matts. Maybe I'm so awesome that I don't let it happen.
Yet, Missy gets lots of tangles really quickly and she's not soft coated. So is there a correlation?
