Oh hi. And agree. I have CS4 too. I've incorporated a lot of 'actions' into my palette, and that has helped some with editing and streamlining. Still, not easy.
I've used Paint Shop Pro (like Nancy has used) too and it's way more friendly than Photoshop. You may not get the options that P-shop has, but it's likely that you won't even know you're missing them, ya know? Bc P-shop has soooooooooooo many options, it can be overwhelming.
If anyone is firm on using p-shop, I'd really recommend loading some actions...it helps so much with streamlining. |
Interesting, I'd never read the differences between the two before, I've been using PaintShop Pro since 3 came out and lots of things seem pretty easy, at least with photo editing. Paint Shop 9 has way more than I'll ever learn to do, but I was thinking about switching to another program that might be easier, after reading your comments, I guess I'll stay with what I have.
I did want to mention that even though Jasc sold the rights to Corel, they allowed them to keep making PaintShopPro 9 with animation shop and can legally sell that. You can still buy it for various operating systems, but you have to be careful, as one size does not fit all systems. You'll find really good prices for a new program as low as $19.00. You can also download a trial version on various sites and see if it's your cup of tea. Whatever you decide, I really recommend the free trial, it's a bummer to buy a program and hate it!
