My thoughts exactly- Besides if he is nuetered he will not be tempted to roam which maybe is what has gotten him into this situation. Plus if you keep him you certainly( IMO )you would not want to take a chance of a unregistered dog to breed any female..
Sometimes its necessary to do what you KNOW is right and pay no attention to well meaning friends who obviously don't have a clue !!!!
