I dont know about that camera model personally...my neice has it and loves it! I have the canon rebel xsi....i think they are the similar but mine does not have video. I absolutely love my camera! It takes awesome pictures. I would recommend that you take a basic photography class as well because the camera can give you some even more awesome pictures than just putting it in the auto mode. I think you will be happy with your camera! I love mine...i have been taking digital photography classes since i got mine and have learned so much....in fact my next class starts up this wednesday and i cant wait! Good luck with it!
