Just wanted to give you an update - it has been a looooong week, $1400 dollars, 2 ICU stays (Wed night) and last night, one diagnosis of HGE, and one diagnosis of Acute Pancreatitis. They said the HGE (hemmorigenic gastroenteritis) manifested first, and turned into pancreatitis. She was discharged after 36 hours NPO, and now on baby food for a few days. It is now 3am and I just fed her a teaspoon again. She needs to have small, frequent meals to limit the amount of stomach acid. Just wanted to give you an update. BTW - the vets had nothing good to say about bully sticks at all. They have seen so many prolems. Thanks for your kind words... |
