It's funny how fast they can train us...I went through that with Belle when we got her. I had her in a kennel next to our bed and was getting up with her everytime she would cry. I talked to her breeder and she laughed that Belle was training me. She was 2 pounds so I was nervous about her being so little. She should be able to go almost 4 hours by then or shortly. I discovered that when I put a blanket over the kennel so she couldn't see anything she didn't fuss. When she did I knew she had to go. When I'd get her up I put her right on her pad, after she peed I'd give her just a finger full of food and right back to bed. I still to this day keep her kennel covered at night and she never makes a sound until she hears that I'm awake. Good luck, it's like having a new baby in the house.
