 advice about puppy sleeping
Hi, I have had a yorkie puppy for about one month. I felt like we were making great progress related to sleeping because when he would cry or whimper (he is in a small kennel, next to my bed)..I would just put my finger in the grid in the front of the kennel and he would lick it and immediately settle down. For the last week and a half or so, he barks at 4:00 AM...I take him to his pad in the kitchen and he does his business..(both pee and poops)...Then I put him back in and he sleeps for about another hour and a half....I am getting very tired following his pattern of sleep....any suggestions about how to adjust what I am doing so I can get a good night's sleep would be very appreciated. barb in minneapolis |
