My understanding about the Golden Yorkies is that it's not a gene at all, but rather incorrect markings that make it appear gold. Could be wrong.

As far as the Parti gene, I don't believe there is a test specifically for it at this time. And because it is recessive, most traditional color owners don't even realize that it's in their lines until they throw a Parti colored pup.

Someone correct me if I'm not understanding this correctly.
