| No Elaine, you do not deserve it, and I am sure next to the life of Mia the money doesn't mean anything to you. I know that is how I would feel. The nerve of these breeders? My Gizmo came from a BYB who I believe loved them, but did not know what she was doing. Tenci came from a pet store. When I first got Haley, she gave me a scare with a little blood in her poo. The vet said it was Giardia (I think). I came online here asking what this was? There were several people who was willing to help me, but others couldn't stop asking me to scan her pedigree and let them know who the breeder was. Turns out I got intouch with her breeder who was a very nice lady. She offered to help me in any way I needed her to. The vet said Haley had LP and some other problems too. The breeder offered to refund any money I had paid for her (and she had not even sold her to me), and pay for any medical bills I was out or any surgerys she may have to have in the future. This lady was so shocked by what the vet had told me. We have become friends due to this, and I do believe she is a good breeder. I believe this is what a good breeder should do, stand behind their litters, and help the puppies if they are any sick ones produced. I am sorry this was not the case with your little girl. Quote:

So, just because the vet bills MAY be paid, that statement of putting animals down to me further shows her as unreputable. Susan, who broker's her pups has not said a word about reimbursement. Thank you for your support. I don't mind taking the heat. I deserve it. I just don't want focus lost that even educated people will buy with their heart and hopefully this is that lesson that others will not repeat. Elaine | |
