That is exactly right. My nephew and I were scanning through Hoobly.com one day just look at different dog breeds, he loves animals, and I saw these English bulldogs for sale for CHEAP, 600, and we all know that a reputable breeder charges, 1500 +++++ for these babies because of health conditions. So I decided to email him, he was located in San Antonio, Tx which is about 4 hr south from me. The guy emailed me back and said that he had sold them to a Reverend, who went to Africa for missionary but the weather is too much for them and that I should contact him so I decided to. The reverend said he had 2 that he'd sell me for 600 with shipping included. I almost busted out cause I was like WOW. Well then I told him I didn't feel comfortable sending him 600 first since I didn't even know him. Then he offered me 300 and I still declined. Then he offered them to me for FREE if I'd just give him and God my word that I would give them a loving home. Of course I politely declined, since I was just checking this out not seriously inquiring about it. Well a couple of months later I seen another in SA, TX offering for that much.....when I emailed guess what??? A nurse who had went to Haiti to help with the EarthQuake relief, NEVER even attempted to email her. hmmm.... This all is so unsettling to me, makes me sad for people who actually go through with it. My only question was WHY the Rev offered it for Free to me and if that was just a way to get personal info for shipping. But I think what you did WAS awesome. Bet they felt dumb for this act. I honestly hope there really are NO puppies in these Cameroon peoples hands only can imagine their treatment.
