My little furr ball, best buddy has been sick since about the 14th of December when he stopped eating. Numerous trips to the vet, different tests, x-rays, medications, antibiotics, days on an IV,,,,,, He's only five years old, and watching him suffer is tearing my heart out. It's been quite the roller coaster ride for the last few weeks. Bloodwork looked like maybe kidney failure. He acts like it's hurting him to breathe normal. He's thrown up, drank water like crazy, started eating, stopped eating, it's driving us nuts. We had him to specialists in Houston twice now, spent tons of money, and still know nothing for sure. Anybody have a crystal ball? That's what I need. His bloodwork is looking much better, but now he acts like it's hard for him to breath. He's not half the dog we had five weeks ago. It's sure tough not knowing if we should keep trying to help him, or if we're only prolonging the inevitable. Any of you had a dog with Addison's where the pet had problems breathing?
Thanks for reading my problems.......
