Yeah they are all really narrow. Top out at about 3" wide at the ball of the foot! I think people in general were smaller and shorter back then. I had a fair collection of antique clothing and uniforms and they are all very small. Most the mens uniforms fit bf and he is only about 5'7" and a size 29 waist. The top hats are also all very small. We could not find any to fit him. most of them fit my pinhead.
