That's how my boy was to his Daddy for a while. He would be stuck to me and yelp when I left the room or house and when Daddy tried to comfort him he'd just go to his crate and lay. When we got the female yorkie she was stuck to me but quickly warmed up to Daddy. Now our girl, Chlole, is complete Daddy's girl when he's home (works outta town) and Mama's girl when Daddy's gone. Our boy, Mason, is pretty much both but he sleeps under Mama's arm; Chloe sleeps under Daddy's arm; and our Rott sleeps at the foot of the bed or at the foot of the bed on the floor. Sometimes he'll take the couch lol. Good luck with the new puppy! They are such a blessing and Joy!!
