I'm not worried about germs, etc. But honestly, Dinky never has any luck at the Dog Park. He really feels comfortable only when other dogs are not very large. At our park "small dogs" include 25 lbs and under.
When we have gone, usually the other dogs are too big or there are no other dogs.
It is nice for him to be able to run around freely in a big space though.
