This mornings episode was my fault when I was preparing for our daily walk. I thought I had clipped her leash on but as I realized the clip didn't shut, she was in stealth mode through the state park. I got more of an exercise than I bargained for today. |
I thought my boys were 100% trained to sit and stay at the door, but one day, grandpa opened the door for a package and Teddy sailed out the door. Thank heavens, I was across the street and saw Teddy running after the UPS truck and nearly in front of another car. I called Teddy to come to me and he listened.
We put up baby gates the next day because I am not going to risk that happening again.
All it takes is one failure to lead to heartbreak.
