Sterling silver will tarnish
My parents had a lovely sterling silver teaset when I was growing up, and one of my jobs (and my sisters) was to clean the darn thing regularly.
The plating on the jewelry will help the tarnishing until the plating wears down.
I am still wavering on whether to get the pendant.........
