When my girl come in heat I had notice her little vulva looked swollen a few days before I seen the blood. Since this was my first female dog I had never experianced this and when I saw it I thought ugh, that looks nasty. LOL I was taking them to groomer in a couple of days and I was going to ask groomer. But a day or so later saw a tiny spot of blood on her blanket and my male had been really following her around and smelling her booty way too much too. A day or so later I couldn't take those two and took both and had them spayed and neuter. Best thing I had done!
