Personally I would be fine with that. 10 weeks is still in my opinion a good age. I've only bred Aussies and I know there's a difference with bigger dogs but due to the fact that two of our pups were going to Germany last year, we had them until they were 10 or 11 weeks. I think that is a good age to have learned from their mom the most of what is needed. Again, Yorkies are smaller so I understand the desire to wait 12 weeks if possible but I don't think it's a deal breaker. If you truly trust this breeder - after meeting her face to face and seeing the parents and surroundings - I say go with your gut. You can not take what you read on a forum to be the absolute end-all word on the subject. I may get blasted for that opinion but it is my own.
