HELP, HELP, Mouthy Little Furball on Board I have never had a mouthy puppy before. I thought I did - but I was so WRONG. Elvira is 9 weeks old, and she chews on fingers, toes, ankles, shoes, if I correct her, she goes "rabid" biting as fast as she can. I know some of you have had to have this problem, so please, any suggestions? I've done the
"hold the lower jaw until the puppy quits" (then she starts immediately)
"yelp like you are hurt (she likes this)
"put her in time out" (doesn't seem to realize whey)
"put chew toy in her mouth" this works 80% of the time, and she is getting some better, but why doesn't she understand "NO" or NO BITE?
What did you do???
Thank you so much for ideas.
