 Puppy found in trash
So I work at a vet hospital and someone brought in a Chihuahua they resuced from the trash. She had been placed in a zip lock bag that was at the time full of her own feces. She was skin and bones. Sadder still the lady that found her works at a human hospital, she was by the dumpster and heard crying and was worried it was a baby. Luckily she dug this little girl out of the trash and saved her from a most certain slow and cruel death. The nice lady decided to adopt her and has since put 2 pounds on her and loves her dearly. The little Chihuahua was only 1 pound when rescued and worse had inflammed nipples like she had either given birth or was pregnant and maybe lost the babies....maybe thats why she was literaly thrown away.
We have a shelter with night boxes, no its not the best option but better than the trash. The fact that people can do this to a living creature just breaks my heart. |
