There are many threads here about liver shunt. But you do want to get the best specialist and diagnostics around. Many dogs with liver shunt can go on to live healthy lives.
Also once the ddx is confirmed your breeder should be made aware. LS is genetic, and the breeder needs to know what has and is happening.
You mentioned nothing about the age of Pookie. Also why did the vet now say thinking liver shunt, when the first examination of blood work came back normal?
Did they actually do BATS the second time around?
