I guess for dog owners who were vegetarian, but is that really respecting the animal/dog? What an individual dog owner decides is one thing, but there are enough "businesses" that will cater to this. With this act, they did put themselves over the line as a moneymaker, rather than an organization who really had a respect for animals in my opinion. Not saying they are all bad, and we cannot judge a bill as good or bad just because they back it.
