Ok.. I'm convinced to contact a vet but this is my concern with doing that. We are in MI 6 months and in FL 6 months. We are currently in Fl. The vet I have gone to down here is a fairly good size guy. At one point when I had her in last year for her shots we discussed having her spayed and he said he would prefer to wait until she was at least 2 years old. He also was concerned about her small size and his rather large hands.
I have been looking through the phone book for Veterinary Hospitals.. I am also concerned about her being put under due to her size. I know this is not an ideal time to change Dr.'s but...

I'd definitely try to find another vet. My Lulu was barely over 3 lbs when she was spayed a few weeks ago (at 8 months old). Just be sure to do all the pre-op bloodwork first.
