He had some x-rays done and saw my knee was bone on bone. I was set up for surgery, and lots of different tests and such, but while doing all this a friend of mine suggested I try taking Cetyl Myristoleate. It took all the swelling and pain away and I'm walking pain free. Don't know why but it's a blessing. Of course this isn't a cure, but I'm just grateful for every day that I can walk normally and without pain. No surgery for me yet.
I remember reading another thread where you mentioned Cetyl Myristoleate and i forgot to write it down then. I just wrote it down on a piece of paper on my desk and hopefully i wont need it..but you never know. So happy you're pain free. I never thought i'd say that i cant wait to get back to exercising LoL

She had her knee drained 9 days ago, redrained today and it is already swollen back up completely. She can barely walk. They are starting her on Humera next week. Did your knee have fluid on it? I know my dtr is missing out on going out, wearing heals and just enjoying life. I hope your surgery is very successful and your recovery smooth.
Patti, your daughter is ALWAYS in my prayers. I feel so bad for her. She has gone thru a lot and its so not fair. Thank god i didnt have any fluid in my knee. My SED rate (which measures inflamation in the body) was 3 times the normal rate on my blood tests. I was so annoyed that it had gone on for so long i told myself to just forget them and go to one of the big hospitals in Boston. It takes me about 40 minutes to drive there when i have appts....but at least i'm getting down to the bottom of it. I hope they find out whats causing the pain for your daughter. Noone should be going thru that.
