I'm glad your pain problem was found and now will be corrected. I too was in horrible pain for two years, went to a rheumatologist and he said I wouldn't need surgery for a very long time. He tried giving me a prescription for pain meds but I wouldn't take it. I don't take medications of any type. Then I went to an orthopedic surgeon. He had some x-rays done and saw my knee was bone on bone. I was set up for surgery, and lots of different tests and such, but while doing all this a friend of mine suggested I try taking Cetyl Myristoleate. It took all the swelling and pain away and I'm walking pain free. Don't know why but it's a blessing. Of course this isn't a cure, but I'm just grateful for every day that I can walk normally and without pain. No surgery for me yet.
